IOLANDA MASSIMO

Iolanda Massimo graduated cum laude in opera singing at the Conservatorio Perosi under the guidance of mezzo-soprano Claudia Marchi and specialised with Raina Kabaivanska, Michele Pertusi and Francesco Meli. In 2021 she participated in the Accademia Rossiniana Alberto Zedda, making her debut at the Rossini Opera Festival in the role of Corinna in Il Viaggio a Reims. In the same year she won the First International Singing Competition Voce all’Opera, obtaining the Special Prize of the Rodolfo Celletti Belcanto Academy.

In 2022, she made her debut at the Teatro Carlo Felice in Genoa as Fiorilla in Il Turco in Italia and performed Cecchina suonatrice di Ghironda by Pietro Generali in the first modern performance at the Teatro Rossini in Pesaro. Other successes in 2022 included her debut in the role of Donna Anna in Mozart’s Don Giovanni and Musetta in La Bohème at the Sofia Opera. In 2023, she performed Deidamia in the baroque opera Achille in Sciro at the Teatro Real in Madrid and Elvira in L’Italiana in Algeri in Livorno. She also recorded her first record production and collaborates regularly with the Luciano Pavarotti Foundation.
