First solo flute in the Finnish Radio Symphony Orchestra since autumn 2014, Yuki Koyama has appeared across Finland in solo and chamber repertoire. He has also given solo recitals in Japan and worked there with orchestras such as the NHK Symphony, Japan Philharmonic, Tokyo Philharmonic, Tokyo Symphony, Osaka Symphony and Kobe City Chamber Orchestra.

Koyama has won prizes in many competitions, such as the 7th Biwako International Flute Competition, the 73rd Music Competition of Japan, and the 6th Kobe International Flute Competition. A teacher at the Sibelius Academy since 2017, he has also taught for a year at the University in Seoul and held masterclasses in Finland, Japan, South Korea, Spain and Hungary.
