Vesta is among the most prominent singer-songwriters and musical artists of the younger generation. She is known for her insightful and socially engaged lyrics as well as emotionally resonant compositions.

The artist first came to wider public attention in 2015 and firmly established herself at the forefront of Finnish pop with her debut album Lohtulauseita (2018). The concerts on the album’s release tour sold out in advance, and Helsingin Sanomat wrote at the time that Vesta was “the best thing Finnish mainstream pop has to offer right now.” Her later work has further demonstrated her unique ability to combine sensitivity with a strong social perspective.

In 2025, Vesta captured the hearts of Finnish audiences on the television programme Vain elämää with her touching and insightful interpretations of songs by fellow artists. In early 2026 she will release a new album and embark on an extensive tour across Finland in the spring.
