Jori Roosberg (formerly Sjöroos) is a Finnish songwriter, producer and musician who has been a key figure in Finnish pop and alternative music since the 2000s. He first gained wider recognition as a composer and producer for the band PMMP. The band’s songs became defining classics of a generation in Finnish pop music, and Roosberg’s distinctive melodic signature has since been heard in the work of numerous artists.

Roosberg has built a long career as a songwriter and producer as well as a creative collaborator with various artists. He served as producer and songwriter on Vesta’s acclaimed debut album Lohtulauseita, and the two have continued their collaboration on Vesta’s album Suomi soimaan, to be released on 15 May.
