The Finnish-Italian composer, producer and violinist Elia Lombardini is known from recordings and performances with several leading Finnish artists (including Ruusut, Vesta, and Karina), both as a producer and a performer. His own solo material, however, has only been heard following the release of his debut album In Death and the Hunger for a Thousand Lives in 2022.

As a composer, Lombardini naturally positions himself within the continuum of Finnish composers, while his work also reflects strong influences from electronic music. His music may be compared to that of artists such as Nils Frahm, Max Richter, Ryuichi Sakamoto, and other composers working within the post-classical tradition.
