At the Turku Music Festival in summer 2026, audiences will experience a unique evening as Vesta, one of the most powerful voices in Finnish pop, takes the stage at the Turku Concert Hall together with her long-time producer Jori Roosberg. The evening offers a rare glimpse into the origins of Vesta’s artistic career – a story in which Turku plays a central role. The concert will feature music from across Vesta’s career as well as from her third album Suomi soimaan, to be released in spring 2026.

Vesta’s breakthrough came with her debut album Lohtulauseita (2018), which achieved double platinum streaming status and was produced by Roosberg. Since then, she has established herself as one of the most significant singer-songwriters of her generation – an artist whose music combines emotional lyricism, memorable melodies, and a strong social voice.

During the evening, Vesta and Roosberg return to the early stages of her career. Few know that Lohtulauseita was largely created in the vicinity of the Turku Concert Hall. Through conversation and music, the audience will gain insight into how Vesta’s music first emerged, what thoughts she had as a young artist working on her debut album, and how those early visions have shaped her career to this day. In this unique evening, Vesta’s sensitive yet powerful expression will be heard at its fullest. Jori Roosberg will also appear on stage, and the programme is complemented by the TMJ Quartet: Kreeta-Julia Heikkilä, Siljamari Heikinheimo, Hanna Hohti, and Jaani Helander.

The shared evening with Vesta and Jori Roosberg is a rare encounter – a moment where past and present meet during the final summer of the Turku Concert Hall.
