Tuomo Rannankari is a musician, songwriter and TV presenter.  Tuomo’s children’s songs are familiar to many Finnish children from pre-school and primary school teaching materials, TV children’s programmes and concerts by Pikku Kakkonen.  He was awarded the Children’s Music Writer of the Year Award in 2019 for his work. Tuomo has recorded three children’s albums and the Sininen pallo album together with the Oulu Symphony Orchestra. He has also appeared as a guest soloist on the Moomin album. Tuomo will perform at the Turku Music Festival concert together with his Sand pie Orchestra. The concert will include some of Tuomo’s best-known songs, such as “Hiekkakakkuorkesteri”, “Pomppimaan”, “Seikkailulaulu” and “Sininen pallo”.
