CALLA is a novel virtuoso pop music women’s vocal ensemble from Helsinki. Founded in 2023, it is a group of professional musicians dedicated to expanding the niche of a cappella in the field of popular music through artistry and a unique sound. Their programme features original songs by the ensemble members and innovative arrangements of current Finnish and international hits.

CALLA focus on modern repertoire and social media content in particular, with a view to attracting younger audiences to the a cappella genre. The cover tracks released by the group have been acclaimed by artists, listeners and record labels alike, besides amassing more than one million views on TikTok and Instagram in spring 2024.

The ensemble members are Vilja Wahlbom, Siina Suutarinen, Jenny Jalkanen, Helmi Antila, Olivia Ainali and Hilla Hannonen.
