Jingjing Xu, winner of the 2024 International Mirjam Helin Competition, will perform at the Turku Music Festival together with Christopher Knopp!

Step into a concert where the music breathes the beauty and mysticism of centuries. Spirits and Essences weaves together humanity’s deepest emotions – longing, love, dreams and memories – through artfully chosen melodies.

Each tune and poem evokes images of mythical landscapes, heartbreaking love and the depths of the human mind. Chinese melodies evoke moonlit spring nights, ancient poems and ethereal beauty, while Finnish songs ignite the longing of a northern summer night and the grandeur of nature in the heart.

Music doesn’t just play – it lives and moves. This is an evening that leaves a mark.
