Tuure Koski is a Helsinki-based freelance bassist who plays both electric and double bass. He graduated from the Sibelius Academy of Music in 2023 with a PhD in jazz music with the subject “Jazz bass rhythm”. Notable ensembles over the years include Riku Niemi Orchestra, Shadow Cinema, XL (Jarmo Saari, Tomi Salesvuo, Arttu Takalo and DJ Bunuel), Manuel Dunkel Quartet (Manuel Dunkel, Seppo Kantonen and Teppo Mäkynen) and Mr. Fonebone (Antti Rissanen, Kari Ikonen, Mika Kallio and Mikko Innanen).
