Petri Tuomi-Nikula is a Helsinki-based non-fiction writer, foreign policy expert and cultural influencer whose impressive career spans from journalism to the top of diplomacy. He has worked for both STT and MTV’s Kymmenen uutiset, and has served as ambassador to Rome and Budapest, among other places. Tuomi-Nikula is known for his books “Erilaista diplomatiaa” (Different Diplomacy) and “Kuningasbasso – Matti Salminen” (The King Bass – Matti Salminen), and he has dedicated himself to cultural life as founder of the Pro Opera Association, member of the board of the Savonlinna Opera Festival and chairman of the Larufest Support Association.
