Lain Huuto is a choir of lawyers and law students founded in 2009, with Paavo Hyökki as its artistic director since its inception. The choir is in demand as a performer at various events and regularly organises its own concerts. The singers are united not only by their professionalism but also by their motivation and ambition to produce quality choral music.

Lain Huuto has received several awards and has been successful in international choir competitions. In 2014, the choir won the main mixed choir category of the Canta al Mar International Choir Competition in Spain. In Tampere Sävel 2015 it won two gold medals and in 2017 the choir was awarded for the best interpretation of the competition programme at the Kaunas Cantat International Choir Competition in Lithuania. Lain Huuto has released singles, music videos, and four full-length albums; Tähti suurempi muita (2015), Straight Masterpieces (2019), Valoon! (2023) and In My Heart Is Heaven (2023).

In 2024, Lain Huuto celebrated its 15th anniversary with a gala concert at Musiikkitalo in Helsinki on 26 October 2024. By far the most popular concerts of the choir are the IHME Christmas concerts. Lain Huuto has established its place in Helsinki’s extensive concert programme and every year, for more and more people, Christmas begins with an “IHME” Christmas concert.
