HENRIK JÄRVI

Henrik Järvi studied at the Sibelius Academy under Liisa Pohjola, in Salzburg under Alexei Lubimov, and at the St. Petersburg Conservatory under Alexander Sandler. At the Madrid Chamber Music Academy, he worked under the guidance of Ralf Gothoni and Tom Krause. Additionally, he has participated in Jorma Panula’s conducting courses.

Henrik Järvi has appeared as a soloist with the Oulu, Jyväskylä, and Turku Philharmonic Orchestras, as well as at the Naantali, Turku, and Kuhmo Music Festivals. He has performed on concert tours in Germany, Switzerland, Norway, and Sweden, as well as in the Baltic countries. In recent years, Järvi has focused particularly on Finnish music from the early 20th century. He is currently completing his artistic doctoral degree, focusing on the piano compositions of Selim Palmgren.
