The Fiskars Festival Orchestra was founded in 2022 and consists of both internationally active musicians and carefully selected young talents from Finland and abroad. The orchestra was created especially for the Fiskars Summer Festival and is supported by the Fiskars Group. Jukka-Pekka Saraste serves as the orchestra’s artistic director, and the orchestra has been conducted by internationally renowned conductors such as Esa-Pekka Salonen, Hannu Lintu, James Gaffigan, and Dalia Stasevska, as well as promising young conductors from the annual master class.

The LEAD! Foundation, which organizes the Fiskars Summer Festival, aims to support young conductors and instrumentalists at the beginning of their careers. The festival brings together young musicians and leading international classical musicians in a unique way, creating a community where work takes place in an inspiring and unifying atmosphere that many want to return to year after year.
