Harpist, composer, and visual artist Laura Hynninen has performed as a soloist and chamber musician since the 1990s. She completed her A degree in harp performance at the Sibelius Academy in 1999. Hynninen has held permanent positions as principal harpist with the Finnish National Opera and Finland’s Radio Symphony Orchestra. She has performed as a soloist with several orchestras, including Avanti! Tapiola Sinfonietta and the Radio Symphony Orchestra.

In her solo projects, Laura Hynninen combines her music and visual works in her own unique style. She has received numerous awards, including Yle’s Album of the Year Award in 2021, Emma nominations in 2022 and 2024, Pro Musica in 2024, and the Indie Awards in 2025.
