Ezra Woo has been the Second Principal Viola of the Finnish Radio Symphony Orchestra since 2016. Prior to that he also worked with the BBC Philharmonic, Staatskapelle Berlin and Berlin Philharmonic Orchestra. In addition to his orchestral work, he remains an avid chamber musician.

Born in South Korea and raised in Russia, Woo began his musical education at the age of 6 on violin and piano. He later entered the Novosibirsk School of Special Music to study viola, and eventually completed his Bachelor of Music and Master of Music degrees with honours at the Berlin University of the Arts.

His favourite hobbies include cooking, water sports, and tennis.
