BRAHE DJÄKNAR

Brahe Djäknar is a lively and long-standing male student choir at Åbo Akademi University, founded in 1937. Rooted in a strong choral tradition, Brahe Djäknar brings together voices across generations to explore both classic and contemporary repertoire. The choir is known for cherished traditions like the live Valborg celebration and its beloved Advent concerts, while always remaining curious and open to new musical paths. Brahe Djäknar is a space for shared musical joy and lasting friendships. The choir performs throughout the year, often in close collaboration with its sister choir Florakören and the Academic Orchestra, and frequently travels both within Finland and abroad for tours and concerts.
