Annimaria Rinne is a versatile singer whose soft voice and elegant interpretation have captivated audiences across a wide range of jazz and popular music for over thirty years. She is known as a strong interpreter of both classical compositions and new arrangements. Rinne has performed nationally and internationally, collaborating with top musicians and captivating audiences with his elegant performances.
Rinne studied music and theatre in New York from 1992-1997. In addition to singing, she is also a concert producer. Over the years, his most important collaborators have included Jaakko Salo, Olli Ahvenlahti, Pentti Lasanen, Erik Lindström, Antti Sarpila, Mikko Hassinen, Seppo Kantonen and Tero Saarti.
Rinne has been heard as a soloist with the Umo Helsinki Jazz Orchestra, the Riku Niemi Orchestra, the Helsinki City Orchestra, the Lapland Chamber Orchestra and the Turku Philharmonic Orchestra. Recent collaborations have included the London Symphony Orchestra, Tango Alakulo Ensemble and David Gordon (UK). Recent recordings include “Take Love Easy” by Tegelman3 (Pilfink records 2017), “Jälkeenpäin” (Alba Records 2018) and “Selja” by Annimaria Rinne, Seppo Kantonen, John Storgårds and Lapland Chamber Orchestra (Alba Records 2021).
