The position will start on January 1, 2026, or as agreed.
Turku Music Festival is Finland’s oldest continuously running music festival and one of the country’s most prestigious classical music events. Every year, the festival brings top Finnish and international artists to Turku and creates new artistic and community-based projects in collaboration with many partners.
At the same time, the festival is building a long-term development path towards Turku’s 800th anniversary in 2029.
We are looking for an energetic and creative marketing and sales expert to join our team.
In this role, you will be responsible for the visibility of the Turku Music Festival, sales development, and strengthening audience relations together with the festival team. The focus of your role can be tailored to your skills — you can be a strategic marketing planner, a skilled content producer, a sales-driven networker, or a combination of these.
Key tasks
• Developing and implementing marketing and communication plans
• Sales and corporate cooperation (sponsorship, ticket sales, B2B customer relationships)
• Developing the visibility of the festival and its events through various channels
• Designing and maintaining social media and online content
• Collaborating with graphic designers, media, and the production team
Our requirements
• Experience in marketing, communications, or sales
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Excellent Finnish and English language skills (Swedish and other languages are an advantage)
• Enthusiasm for culture, music, and audience development
