Tuuli Lempa is an active performing pianist and chamber musician. New music and projects combining piano and live electronics as well as chamber music are an integral part of her work.
She has contributed to the status of contemporary music through numerous commissions and premieres, as well as by holding positions of trust in the contemporary music association What ever Works! Lempa has worked as a pianist with grants from the Finnish Cultural Foundation, the Finnish Arts Council, the Music Promotion Foundation and Konstsamfundet, among others, and has carried out his ideas at the artist residency Circolo Scandinavo in Rome.
Lempa has worked as a piano teacher at Musiikkiopisto Arkipelag, Porvoonseudun musiikkiopisto and Årnes kulturskole. Since moving back to Finland, she has also trained as a church musician at the Sibelius Academy. Lempa is currently working as a Vice-Cantor in Raisio parish.
