Lambis Pavlou is a Cypriot pianist living and working in Finland. He obtained his Master´s degree from Sibelius Academy where he studied with Tuija Hakkila and Ilmo Ranta. He has won prizes in national and international piano competitions such as “Evangellia Tziarri” in Cyprus, “Filonas” in Greece and “Pietro Argento” in Italy. He has also represented Cyprus at the 12th Steinway International Festival in Hamburg and in the Eurovision Young Musicians Competition in Vienna. He has performed in Cyprus, Finland, Italy, Germany and China and he has appeared as a soloist with the Cyprus Youth Symphony Orchestra and with the Cyprus Symphony Orchestra. Lambis possesses a diverse range of repertoire and he has gathered experience as a Chamber and Lied pianist, as well as a contemporary ensemble and orchestral musician. Notably, Lambis has participated in festivals like Musica Nova, Piano Espoo, Tampere Biennale, Luosto Soi, Nurmes Music Festival, the Savonlinna Opera Festival and Kamarikesä in recent times.
