Fast-rising conductor Dalia Stasevska has established herself as a musician of exceptional versatility. Within the last year, Stasevska has been featured in the New York Times, PBS, NPR, The Guardian, LA Times, WNYC, and more, speaking about her mission to break down the traditional perceptions around the role of a conductor in the 21st century. Chief Conductor of the Lahti Symphony Orchestra, Artistic Director of the International Sibelius Festival, and Principal Guest Conductor of the BBC Symphony Orchestra, Dalia has skyrocketed to international recognition. She has had fifteen major orchestra debuts around the world between 2022 and 2024, including the Chicago Symphony Orchestra, Philadelphia Orchestra, San Francisco Symphony, National Symphony Orchestra, Glyndebourne, Pittsburgh Symphony Orchestra, and Frankfurt Radio Symphony Orchestra. She has made several appearances at the BBC Proms, conducting the Last Night of the Proms in 2022 and the First Night of Proms in 2023. Beyond conducting, Dalia has also taken an active role in supporting Ukraine following the Russian invasion, raising funds and driving to the frontlines to deliver aid packages in person.
