Pauliina Rahiala graduated from the Sibelius Academy of the University of the Arts Helsinki in 2018 with a Master of Music degree in performing arts, majoring in violin. Rahiala is also a trained music teacher and holds a Master of Arts degree from the University of Turku, majoring in musicology. She performs in various chamber music ensembles and productions of different musical styles, and also writes regularly about music. Contemporary music is particularly important to Rahiala, and she is actively involved in the Turku-based contemporary music association What ever Works! where she currently serves on the board.
