Turku Music Festival kicks off the summer with a relaxed afterwork concert, where the workday gives way to great music and easygoing socialising in the atmosphere of Walo Rooftop Bar above the city rooftops.
Taking the stage is the a cappella group Flok, whose sound moves effortlessly between the human voice and modern pop. Creatively arranged classics and the group’s original songs create a performance that captivates from beginning to end. Flok has quickly built a growing audience both at club gigs and on social media—and for good reason. Their engaging live energy, set against Turku’s most stunning rooftop terrace, is guaranteed to set the summer mood.
Walo Rooftop Bar serves before and during the concert. Seating is limited. In good weather, the concert takes place on the 10th-floor rooftop terrace; in case of rain, it will be moved indoors to the 9th-floor bar.
