Villa Leppäniemi, an oak-built historic villa on Ruissalo island lovingly restored courtesy of OP Turun Seutu Bank, hosts performances of the Turku Music Festival on the Night of the Arts! Built in the early 1870s and decorated in the then prevalent style of wood carving, the villa stands in a beautiful natural setting. Violinist Rebecca Boozeman and cellist Artturi Aalto invite listeners to join them for a programme of music by Reinhold Glière, Camille Saint-Saëns and Maurice Ravel.
The young violinists of the Aura Violin Academy will provide the entrance music for the concerts.
THE CONCERT AT 18:00 IS SOLD OUT
