Lauri Kattelus, City Manager of Laitila, invites guests to the Louhenlinna estate in Laitila for a home concert with music and stories of composer Jouni Kaipainen, Lauri’s father, who was commissioned to write Tenebrae for guitarist Timo Korhonen to be performed at the Turku Music Festival in 1991.

The soloist of the concert is Patrik Kleemola, one of the foremost Finnish classical guitarists. After winning the II Guitaristival “Takemitsu” International Guitar Competition in Finland and gaining prizes in other competitions such as Gargnano’s International Guitar Competition, his international concert career has taken him to London, Buenos Aires, Rome, Dublin, Milan, Athens, Turin, Florence, Tallinn, Helsinki, Oberstdorf and other cities in South America and Europe.

Kleemola’s intense collaboration with composers has led to over 60 premieres of contemporary works for guitar including concertos, solo works, chamber music and pedagogic literature.
