Syli [Embrace] is a concert by the Kuvaja vocal ensemble probing experiences of intimacy and security – what do we rely on, and why? An embrace is what we long for, where we linger and what we tear ourselves away from. Quality vocal performance and a lucid stage presence create a memorable moment for the listener, an embrace, amidst everyday urgency.

Kuvaja are a vocal ensemble of five members established in autumn 2018 around the premise of the healing power of music. Through profound texts and candid performances, Kuvaja hold up a mirror to humanity: its deep furrows and sensitive smiles. The group members are Anni-Kaisa Haukka, Anna Gallon, Laura Vallenius, Joona Vallenius and Aleksi Vasko.
