Baritone Kevin Greenlaw began his musical studies in his hometown of St. Charles, Missouri. He continued his singing studies, e.g. in New York, Glasgow and Paris. After Paris, Kevin Greenlaw joined the ensemble of the Dortmund Opera where he debuted in major baritone roles such as Don Giovanni, Marcello (La Boheme), Eugene Onegin, Il Conte (Le Nozze di Figaro). Greenlaw’s main repertoire has become e.g. The Count from the Wedding of Figaro, Orestes from Iphigénie en Tauride, Pelléas (Pelléas et Mélisande), which he has made, among others At Glyndebourne, Opéra National de Lorraine, Opéra de Rennes and covered at the Metropolitan Opera in New York. In Finland, Greenlaw made his debut in 2013 in Turku, in The Marriage of Figaro as the Count. In spring 2015, he performed the title role of Sibelius’ Kullervo Sinfonia, and in spring 2016 the title role of Don Giovanni in Jyväskylä Opera. He made his successful debut at the Finnish National Opera by singing the title role in the grand musical The Phantom of the Opera. Greenlaw has performed with several Finnish orchestras, such as the orchestras of Turku, Tampere, Oulu, Jyväskylä and Lappeenranta. He has recorded several albums, e.g. Beethoven recording with the Turku Philharmonic Orchestra and Leif Segerstam. In the season 24-25, Greenlaw will be seen again at the Finnish National Opera as the Phantom in the production of The Phantom of the Opera.
