Kasmir, who makes R&B-influenced pop, had his breakthrough in 2014 with his debut album “AMK Dropout”, whose single “Vadelmavene” has remained a summer hit in Finland for years. The talented vocalist and songwriter was awarded Newcomer of the Year and “Vadelmavene” Song of the Year at the 2015 Emma Awards. Kasmir’s second studio album “Valmis”, released in early 2018, went straight to number one in Finland.

The Helsinki-based artist released his third long-player “Jälki” in autumn 2019, and in summer 2020 he surprised everyone by releasing the EP “Lumpeet” without prior warning. The EP was not planned from Kasmir’s side either, but was born during COVID and a break from gigs in Hanko.
