Antti Lötjönen has been at the forefront of the Finnish jazz scene for over 20 years. He has performed in over 30 countries and has recorded over 100 jazz recordings as a member of Ilmiliekki Quartet, Verneri Pohjola Quartet, Aki Rissanen Trio, Mikko Innanen Autonomus, Timo Lassy Band and 3TM. In 2015 Antti was elected Artist of the Year of Pori Jazz and in 2018 Jazz Musician of the Year of the Jazz Musicians Association. Lötjönen is part of the Hietsu is Happening! collective, which was awarded the State Prize for Music 2021. He leads his own ensemble “Antti Lötjönen Quintet East”. He has received international attention, for example, by touring Europe as a member of Jeff “Tain” Watts’ trio. Other works include a sound installation for Mänttä Art Festival in 2022.
