ALEXANDER LYCKE is a graduate of the Academy of Music and Drama in Gothenburg and has played several major roles in both musical and spoken theater.
Most recently, he could be seen as “Dan” in Next to normal and Anatoly in CHESS at the Swedish Theater in Helsinki. At the Turku Svenska Theatre he has played Jean Valjean in Les Miserables and Jesus in Jesus Christ Superstar. In Sweden, he most recently played the title role in Cyrano de bergerac at the Stadsteatern in Stockholm.
He began his career in Berlin where he appeared in The Ringer in Notre Dame and has since played leading roles on various stages in both England and Sweden in productions such as:
West Side Story, Miss Saigon, Jesus Christ Superstar, Romeo and Juliet, Hair, American Idiot, Les Misserables, Dom Tre, The Musketeers, Funny Girl, etc.
He is also a singer in the bands Astrakhan and Paralydium and is a frequently engaged soloist in various concert contexts.
